9 June - COLD WATER BAY - SELIMIYE

COLD WATER BAY - SELIMIYE

Weather : Sunny ca.28°C / Afternoon Cloudy with a few raindrops
Wind : SW 1 Bf increasing to NW 3-4 Bf

This was our longest trip, nearly 70 NM.

We started at sunrise ca. 5.00h in the morning.
After af an hour we were joined by a small group of dolphins,
always a nice experience.

Untill 15.00h there was no wind, so we had to go on motor for most of the trip.
The last 3 hours we had a nice half-wind-sail.

At 17.50h we moored at the jetty of the Aurora-restaurant in Selimiye,
in the Hisaronu-Gulf.

Selimiye is a nice laid-back village,
there are a few markets and also an ATM-machine.

At the Aurora they do eveything to make a sailors'stay as convenient
as possible, ... mooringlines, electricity, water, nice showers, ...
and a delicious restaurant.
(dinner ca. 20 Euro pp)
